Your staff can operate our menu-driven systems with minimal training and without any technical expertise. Starting, stopping and switching strains is accomplished by a menu choice on a Human Machine Interface (HMI), enabling simple, quick operations.
You can switch from one type of product to another without any specialized experience. Operation of the system is managed via a Human Machine Interface (HMI), or a mobile device. In addition, our systems are built with quality components and engineering redundancies. This results in un-interrupted operation, even with a failed component.
Our systems include remote monitoring for an added level of quality assurance. Our team will monitor production data in real-time, suggest modifications when appropriate and provide new drying algorithms as needed.

System Upgrades & Updates
As the system monitors individual components and does general troubleshooting, you will receive timely notifications of maintenance requirements. This often happens prior to or immediately after encountering a problem.
We’ll provide adequate notice for any upgrades, and will do our best to accommodate your harvest schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Our technology features low temperatures, very-low-oxygen, dark conditions in the chamber, and short processing times. This means your cannabis is dried while retaining the THC, CBD and other cannabinoid content.
We capture all the value in the plant! Yes, some low-boiling-point terpenes will be lifted from the bud. However these are retained in the water captured from the system. You can recover these terpenes to enhance your product and earn additional revenues. The Rapid Low Temperature Dehydration (RLTD) process can be adjusted to vary the ratio of terpenes-left vs terpenes-lifted. Dhydra will adjust your strain-based drying recipes to produce your desired outcomes.
Two (or fewer) people with no technical expertise can operate the system after receiving training from Dhydra’s team. Our specialized food scientists will analyze your needs and will create the algorithms/recipes needed to properly dry your product and provide these as menu-driven choices for your employees.
The Dhydra System can run for up to 24 hours per day. An automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) cleaning cycle is required between runs.
We can talk pricing after we’ve executed a mutual NDA between our companies. Our solution is very cost effective for large growers who need to process hundreds of pounds of cannabis bud on a regular basis.

If you are a craft grower (you have a Health Canada Micro-Cultivation License), please be patient. We hope to address this market at some point with a small-scale version of our system.
It is a continuous system, using trays, with automated infeed and outfeed capabilities.
Growing and trimming cannabis creates distinct odors that some people find unpleasant. Traditional drying and curing creates even stronger odors. Dhydra provides a closed loop system that captures released vapor and eliminates the unpleasant odors. The subtle smells released by RLTD could be more correctly called (low-intensity) fragrances than odors.
